Bangkok

Day 1 to 4 Welcome to Bangkok, the 'City of Angels', sawasdee khrab! Visit the Grand Palace complex and nearby Wat Arun, stop for a drink and get an awesome view of this splendid temple. Step back in time at Jim Thomson's magical teak house. Go shopping from the ultra modern shopping malls, 'MBK' to the famous Chatuchak market. Alternatively you may decide to treat yourself to a relaxing spa experience or a cooking class. So many options!

Kanchanaburi

Day 5 to 7 Travel to Kanchanaburi. Here you will be able to learn about the history of the Bridge over River Kwai at Hellfire Pass, and visit the allied war memorials, a truly emotional experience. At sunset relax at your hotel with a drink and enjoy the view. Take in the national parks like Erawan, and get up close and personal with elephants at a genuine rescue sanctuary.

Krabi

Day 8 to 11 Krabi, it's time to relax and enjoy the sun, for the more adventurous and energetic there is also plenty to do. Try rock climbing, diving/snorkelling or just enjoy a boat trip around the islands.
This has to be one of the best beach options anywhere.

Chiang Mai

Day 12 to 15 on to Chiang Mai in the north of the country, Thailand’s second city. Take a trip around the old city in a tuk-tuk, go shopping for souvenirs at the famous night market. The next day visit the majestic temple at Doi Suthep in the surrounding hills and admire the views of Chiang Mai.  Later, go and see the nearby Palace Gardens.

What's included in the tour price

  • The trip cost will start from your arrival in Bangkok.

  • The indicative price is based on 2 people sharing a room.

  • Accommodation will be in boutique or 5 star hotels, depending on location, and breakfast is included.

  • There may be a charge for certain optional activities, these will be clearly explained.

  • I will personally accompany you during your trip. The evenings will be free for you to decide where you wish to go. Of course I will be available for advice and recommendations, and make any arrangements as required.  

  • Professional tour guides will be on hand for specific trips and activities to further enhance your experience.

  • All internal transfers will be included in the price during your stay.

  • Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available to Thailand for UK passport holders. 

  • You will need 6 months validity on your passport.

  • Whilst good international hospitals and clinics are available, you will be responsible for arranging appropriate medical insurance cover for the duration of your stay.
